From Kuching, Gunung Gading National Park is about 98km away. It is Sarawak’s main conservation area for the Rafflesia, the world’s largest flower, which can grow up to one metre in diameter. The park also offers a number of attractive walking trails, leading through primary rainforest to beautiful jungle waterfalls. Packed lunch is included.

* Blooming rafflesia flowers may be some distance from park headquarters so visitors should be prepared to walk in hot, humid conditions.

Gunung Gading Rafflesia Safari (6 hours)

0830hrs: Pickup from Hotel and proceed for 2 hours journey to Gunung Gading National Park.

1030hrs: Arrive at Gunung Gading and proceed to trek to the Rafflesia site (trail distance subject to the site of the blooming flower). After the flower’s sighting, proceed to trek to the waterfall. Enjoy the pack lunch prepared.

1300hrs: Return transfer to the city.

1500hrs: Arrive at Hotel.
