Gunung Mulu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Outstanding Natural Beauty have only been partially explored. The extensive cave systems of Gunung Mulu National Park are multiple record holders proudly being one of the world’s largest cave passages, the Deer Cave; the world’s largest natural chamber, the Sarawak Chamber; and the eight longest cave in the world, the Clearwater Cave System spanning at 215 km’s long. Covered by a dense canopy of rainforest, ready-made plank walks will bring visitors to the four show caves for an unforgettable encounter with nature at her most majestic. The national park bursting with life is home to a wealth of wildlife and thousands of species of flora which includes 170 species of wild orchids, carnivorous plants, ferns, fungi and mosses. Jungle treks, upriver boat rides and a chance to maybe meet Sarawak’s last nomadic tribe will provide you with an experience worth ticking off in your bucket list.

Additional Information
This tour departs from Miri/Mulu, in Northeast Sarawak. We will be pleased to arrange flights from Kuching to Miri/Mulu, and/or overnight accommodation in Miri if required.
Mulu Caves (3 Days / 2 Nights)
Day 1
Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, meet and greet with our friendly representative and transfer to Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa for check in. Afternoon, 1400hrs / 1430hrs – Meet at hotel’s lobby and then proceed on plank walk for 3 KM to reach Deer Cave & Lang Cave. After exploring the caves, proceed to bats observatory to observe bats flying out of caves entrance at late evening (Only confine to fine weather). Return journey on the same plank walk to park headquarters and transfer back to resort (estimated tour finish around 1900hrs – 1930hrs). Dinner at the resort.
Day 2
0830hrs – Meet at hotel’s lobby and transfer by longboat to Batu Bungan – Penan Settlement, to observe the tribe lifestyle and to select handicrafts on display for sale at Penan Settlement. Continue journey by longboat to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts and later on you can enjoy swimming at Clearwater spring. After lunch, return transfer by longboat to hotel (estimated tour finish around 1900hrs – 1930hrs). Dinner at the resort.
Day 3
Breakfast at the resort & free at own leisure until transfer to Mulu Airport for flight departure.
